Woodfire Cooking Class at the Folk School

Chef Tony Pisconeri will be teaching a week of Rustic Woodfire Cooking at the John Campbell Folk School February 23 to 29, 2020.

“Love What You Eat” and “Eat What Love”

2020 has started out with a very busy January and February, it looks like it will only get busier and more exciting. The new year brings a lot of energy for me and I will be expanding my culinary offerings at Bakewurx, Local Markets, Popups, Cooking Classes, Shopping Experiences, Recipes and keeping up with posting all of my latest information on my food blog at

Chef Tony Pisconeri and Bakewurx will be at Buckeye Creek Farm, Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 10 am until 2 pm with all his great Sharp Mountain Sourdough Artisan Breads and baked goods. We will also be having a Kitchen Gadget Swap so bring a kitchen gadget or tool and swap it for something great.

I just returned from teaching a great week of Southern Soul Food at the John Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. I will be returning to the Folk School the week of February 23 through 29 for a Wood Fire Cooking Class where we will explore all aspects of cooking with fire. Open Hearth, Wood Fired Ovens, Grilling, Roasting to name a few. This class has sold out but there is still a waiting list. Contact for information and to enroll in classes at the folk school.
